以一首歌的時間、一條由歌者創作的時間軸，勾勒出常民生活史

Singing Club x Daily Memory

In the space of one song, a timeline is created by the singer, outlining the trajectory of his or her life.

「如果人生是一條播放清單，你最朗朗上口的歌詞、刻骨銘心的旋律是什麼?」走入社區，以「歌友會」的形式，帶領樂齡人士共同挖掘自身的居住經驗、勞動經歷、生活記憶。透過藝術家的協作，挑選具有生命意義的一首歌，以當地人文風景為拍攝對象，製作一首歌的伴唱帶。最後整合為一可四處巡迴的卡拉ok歌唱站展覽，透過樂齡長者以歌舞、影像的自身創作，及關於當地農耕、土地歷史之文字紀錄的口述檔案整理，呈現出一個地方的豐富樣貌。不僅止於長者的伴唱帶，民眾也將透過展覽中的影像、文字與一同高歌。在整個世界動盪不安的時代、多樣性生態逐漸毀滅之際，我們還能用藝術搶救土地的記憶，一起連結述說存在的希望。

“If life was a musical playlist, what would be your most catchy lyric or unforgettable melody?”

Through a singing club, senior citizens are encouraged to unearth their previous residential and work experiences, as well as life memories. With the assistance of artists, seniors pick a song with a connection to their lives and then create an accompanying karaoke tape featuring scenes and landscapes from their local community. Bringing it all together, these songs and videos are then uploaded onto a touring karaoke exhibition.

Through the elements chosen by the seniors for their videos, an oral history of local and farming communities is created, and the richness of previously forgotten locale is returned to public consciousness. In addition to each senior’s karaoke tape, the audience is encouraged to participate by singing along to the words and images on screen.

In this uncertain world, with our earth’s ecology slowly being destroyed, art can still be used to rescue the memory of this land and together give voice to our hope for the future.

2017 金馬獎入圍紀錄片《你找什麼?》副導及剪接。 2017 年與周東彥導演共同發表紀錄影像藝術創作《真時剪 輯計畫》，受邀於松山文創園區 LAB 創意室「第三空間」聯合展演 。2012 年起任職於狠主流多媒體，擔任導演及剪接，曾任國家兩廳院 NTCH togo 影音頻道影像統籌，影片 作品散見臺灣各大藝文影音平臺。

In 2017, invited by the SongYan Creative Lab, Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, Chia-wen Huang together with director Tung-Yen Chou co-presented Editing Real-time Project in the exhibition “Experimental Project – Third Space.” Huang has been working at Very Mainstream Studio as director and editor since 2012. Huang was the film supervisor for National Theatre & Concert Hall’s YouTube channel — “NTCH togo,”(2014-2015, 2017-2019) and her works have been published on various video platforms in Taiwan.

Very Theatre

Funded by theatre and media artist Tung-yen CHOU with the resource of it's partner company- Very Mainstream Studio. Very Theatre takes new media as core and focuses on creating interdisciplinary works with strong emphasis of narrative and text which strive to envision new ways of seeing and performance experience.
